Taking your first test
The first time you log in you must take a personal skill test on coding languages you declared during your registration. Only when that exam is complete, you are allowed to engage in Battles with other programmers.
For your first test, our testing engine will examine the details you submitted and will show you some pieces of a broken code related to your skill set.
The challenge is to fix the code in the fastest and most efficient manner possible.
We do not allow industry shortcuts, cut and paste, Visual Studio or any other similar tools.
This is the best way to test the user’s true understanding of the broken code and how to complete the broken code.
Pay attention to the question and the required output for the broken code. Once you think you fixed the code hit the CHARGE button and the site will guide you to the next phase.
If you are taking your first test, we will ask you a series of questions and you may skip questions but it will affect your score and the initial skill level.
Relax, it’s not a contest and the rating of your skill set is not solely dependent on a single test.
It is a combination of your details, behavioral analysis and Battles you will participate in.
We are here to help you improve your skills, trying to cheat will not help you in the long run. We should mention we too are developers and know all the old tricks.
Cheaters will be caught and locked away in the Trollim Dungeon.
